FLUTED COLUMNS
Chadsworth's Fluted Columns serve several design purposes, and
they are especially popular for establishing or complementing
classically decorative residential and commercial areas.
Column fluting is an ornamental detail consisting of a series
of rounded, parallel grooves incised into the length of the
column shaft. Our Authentic Replication flutes gradually
taper up the column shaft in both width and depth.
We offer both Doric and Ionic Style fluting. In Ionic Fluting,
the grooves are deeper, separated by small flat edges, and
are more numerous than in Doric fluting.

which is perfect to achieve superior column customization
for any exterior and interior project. Our fluting may be
either the top or bottom one-third, one-half, or two-thirds
of the column shaft.
