PANELS
The panels on our Architectural Shutters are made from a composite wood material. Through a steam injection process, wood is mixed with phenolic resins, zinc borate, and additional materials to create a composite material that is both moisture and termite resistant. Overall, the composite material is 90% wood.
SHUTTER ASSEMBLY
Our shutters are completely customizeable to your design specifications. They are also hand-crafted and assembled to provide an individuality with each design. The assembly process consists of formulating polyurethane adhesives to create a sleek and smooth finish - avoiding blemishes made from nail, screw or rivet marks. The adhesives are exceptionally resourceful, as they are the same adhesives utilized on automotive frames to hold fiberglass shells.
SHUTTER FINISH
The finishing process is enhanced with two finish coats and is additionally strengthened with an oven curing method. Also, with our Architectural Collection, we are able to match any color you desire with nothing less than a 100% color match agreement.
