MATERIAL & MANUFACTURING PROCESS
Composed of polyester resin, fiberglass & marble dust matrix-
spun-cast in existing molds. Custom column molds can be
created for distinct column specifications.
COLUMN SHAFT
PolyStone® column shaft made of polyester resin, fiberglass &
marble dust. The column shaft is fluted and tapered (bottom
third of the shaft is straight, with the remaining 2/3 tapering
to the neck). Shaft can be cut down to your desired overall
height (cut from the bottom of the shaft only).
Classic astragal (bead) molded onto shaft.
CAPITAL, BASE MOLDING & PLINTH
Empire capital is made of paint-grade, load-bearing polyester
resin. Ionic (Attic) base/plinth set made of lightweight
polyurethane. Heavier cast marble base / plinth set available
for an upcharge. Please see spec sheet for complete column
dimensions.

• Changeable capitals, bases, and plinths
FLUTING:
• Molded flutes available for sizes 6" – 18"
• 6" column size: (16) flutes
• 8" – 18" column sizes: (24) flutes
• Flutes end 10-3/4" from Tuscan base
for trimming to exact height
• Flute width varies depending on diameter
and taper of the column shaft
• Automated flutes are available for adjusted
