Design #600-5 - Tuscan Style - FRP (Composite) Column - Plain, Round, Tapered Shaft - Tuscan Capital, Base Molding & Plinth

 

MATERIAL AND MANUFACTURING PROCESS:  Composed of 

polyester resin, fiberglass, and marble dust matrix – spun-cast in
existing column molds.  FRP Composite material that is great
for both interior and exterior projects.

          

COLUMN SHAFT:  Column shaft made of polyester resin,
fiberglass, and marble dust.  Column shaft is plain/smooth,
and tapered (bottom third of the column shaft is straight,
with the remaining 2/3 tapering to the neck).  This FRP
Composite column has nominal dimensions.  Column shaft
can be cut down to your desired overall height at the job site.
When cutting, column shaft should be trimmed from the
bottom of the column shaft only. Astragal (bead) is molded
onto the column shaft.

COLUMN CAPITAL, BASE MOLDING & PLINTH:  We offer
a Tuscan style capital and Tuscan style base molding & plinth,
which is made from a polyurethane material.  Please note that
these column components are designed to wrap around the
column shaft as decorative sleeves – they do not add height.
