DESIGN 534 RB
MATERIAL AND MANUFACTURING PROCESS: Composed
of polyester resin, marble dust, and pigment matrix in existing
column molds. Custom column molds can be created for unique
column specifications. The following pigments are available:
White, Off-White, Cream, Limestone, Sandstone & Cliffside Gray.
COLUMN SHAFT: Pre-Finished column shaft made of polyester
resin, marble dust, and pigment matrix. The column shaft is
plain and tapered (bottom third of the column shaft is straight,
with the remaining 2/3 tapering to the neck). Column shaft can
be cut down to your desired overall height (cut from the bottom
of the column shaft only). Classic astragal (bead) is molded
onto the column shaft.
COLUMN CAPITAL, BASE MOLDING & PLINTH: Roman Corinthian
capital design, composed of durable & weather resistant Classic Stone
(pre-finished) material. Decorative capitals for tapered columns 6"
through 16" come with an extended neck; decorative capitals for tapered
columns above 16" come with an embedded L-bracket that lines up with
embedded L-brackets in the column shaft. Consists of an Ionic (Attic)
base molding & round plinth, made from the same material as the
column shaft. Please Note: The capital & base molding/plinth for
this column are designed to slide around the column shaft. They will
not add to the overall height of the complete column. Please inquire
about having this column cut / split to fit your specific column shapes.
