MATERIAL AND MANUFACTURING PROCESS: Composed
of polyester resin, fiberglass & marble dust in existing column
molds. Custom column molds can be created for unique
column specifications. Perfect for both exterior and interior
applications. Load-bearing. Paint-grade.

COLUMN SHAFT: The column shaft is made of polyester resin,
fiberglass and marble dust. It is plain/smooth and tapered
(bottom third of the column shaft is straight, with the remaining
2/3 tapering to the neck). Nominal dimensions. Most column
sizes have a correct architectural taper. The column shaft can be
cut down to your desired overall height (cut from the bottom of
the column shaft only and utilize a circular saw that is equipped
with a masonry blade). Classic astragal (bead) is molded onto the
column shaft.

COLUMN CAPITAL, BASE MOLDING & PLINTH: Round Tuscan
capital, base molding & plinth are included. For 6" - 12" bottom
diameters, Style 2 capital is standard, and for column diameters
14" +, Style 1 capital is standard. Capital, base molding & plinth
are made from the same material as the column shaft. Please Note:
The capital & base molding/plinth for this column are designed to
slide around the column shaft. They will not add to the overall
height of the complete column. Please inquire about having this
column cut / split to fit your specific column shapes.
