SHUTTER MATERIAL
|

RAILS / PANELS / STILES
Made from a composite wood material. Through
a steam injection process, wood is mixed with
phenolic resins, zinc borate, and additional materials
to create a composite material that is moisture,
rot, and termite resistant. Overall, the composite
material is 90% wood.
FINISH
The finishing process is enhanced with two (2)
finish coats and is additionally strengthened with an
oven curing method. Upon completion, each shutter
is hand-sanded to provide a clean, sleek, smooth
finish. Also, with our Classic Shutter Collection,
we are able to match any color you desire with
nothing less than 100% color match agreement.
One of the greatest advantages of our shutter
components is the ability to withstand the elements.

SHUTTER ASSEMBLY
|
|
Our shutters can be completely customized to
your design specifications. They are hand-crafted
and assembled to provide an individuality with
each design.
The assembly process consists of formulating
polyurethane adhesives to create a sleek & smooth
finish - avoiding blemishes made from nail, screw,
or rivet marks. The adhesives are exceptionally
resourceful, as they are the same adhesives utilized
on automotive frames to hold fiberglass shells.
